September 17th, 2015 07:53 PM #251Last week, nagpa-install ako ng 3M BC 35 (Magic, Light) sa windshield ng Mitsubishi ASX. Price was P2,000 at Winterpine, Araneta Ave, QC. Kasama na dun pagtanggal ng old tint.
Expect price for 3M FX ST series to be cheaper.Last edited by red_one; September 17th, 2015 at 07:59 PM.

September 18th, 2015 08:58 AM #252Nagpainstall nako full coverage ng tint. 6.1k inabot. 3M CS Series sa Team Car, Banawe. CS35 Windshield then CS20 na lahat sa Mirage HB ko.
Laking ginhawa. Kahit gabi maliwanag ok na ok yung view from the inside.

September 18th, 2015 11:39 PM #260Just get the lightest shade kasi malabo mata mo. Any tint is better than no tint at all. Even the faded 3M tint in our everest, randam yung difference sa dashboard, kasi visor lang yung meron.
Here is the TSER or Total Solar Energy Rejected for the CS (the higher the better) and the VLT or visible light transmitted (the lower the number, the darker the tint, as a guide, all tint, regardless of brand has a number next to a type of tint, that basically describe how dark or light the tint is)
CS50 = 35% TSER ; VLT = 52%
CS35 = 40% TSER ; VLT = 39%
CS20 = 51% TSER ; VLT = 19%
CS05 = 57% TSER ; VLT = 9%
(galing sa google search yung info, baka outdated kaso you can use it as a approximate guide)
There are more expensive tints na clear type, it can transmit more light (like 70%) while having TSER similar to dark tints.
