September 3rd, 2015 05:47 PM #2021Guys starting pa lang ako sa detailing. Sobrang daming back read hehehehe.
I have a silver 2014 vios. By hand lang ako at eto ang mga gamit ko for now. Microtex Car Shampoo, Formula 1 Premium Paste Wax, NanoSliq and Glass Science Glass Scrub.
Next project would be to have the car clay barred. I'm debating buying my own or just have the detailer do it. From my list any pros and cons and ano pwede ko idagdag para sa complete protection?
Follow up question.

Ayus yan glass science scrub. Use a wet sponge to utilize it properly. Use it lng if water spots cant be removed with regular wash. Otherwise dont use it. Im using bottled water as washer fluid now so ive stopped using glass science scrub.
You can try sa second row glass yan wax. If you can buff it to clear clarity then wax away your windshield. Buffing windshields will cause glass to collect dust much faster. After buffing use cold distilled water with mf to neutralize the static. Just wet and dry. Avoid buffing. Thats my rain prep.

Just did my first claying session the past few days sir, nakakapagod din pero sulit ang result. Like you, i was worried at first because i might do more harm than good. So i tried first a small panel (1/2' x 1/2') sprayed qd and clayed the surface. Medyo "maganit" yung pakiramdam habang rubbing ng clay nung una dahil sa contaminants, then sprayed qd again and rub until smooth na yung pasada ng clay sa surface while drying frequently with a waffle weave MF towel. Knead the clay once in a while if there are enough stains absorbed in the clay or knead when proceeding to the next panel. After an hour, finished almost half the car (surprisingly).
The technique was liberal spray of qd on the surface to be clayed.
More lubrication = safer claying.
Claying one panel at a time.
And as sir Stock Engine said: huwag mo ihuhulog haha
