HID retrofit isn't worth it. Better to spend the 30T on V-Kool tint. Osama Nightbreakers don't perform well during rain.

I think HID retrofits are better value than Vkool VK tints. Honestly I'm not all that impressed with my VK70 - my K14 was still better and that was 1/2 the cost. The VK70 offers the same heat rejection as OEM05/20 which is much much cheaper. Only advantage for me is that it's clear and thus looks cleaner and has better visibility at night.
Osram Nightbreakers work pretty well at night - never had any problem seeing during hard rains when I had them on my car before. For the layman though, it doesn't look any different than the normal halogen bulbs. What I like about retrofits or HID in general is that it really stands out at night.

You need to take note that the windshield with VK70 is angled and is exposed to more sunlight than the side windows with K14 tint which are almost vertical.
Aren't the VK series less than 1/4 the cost of the K series? A full VK tint will cost upwards of 30T while K series will cost 6T+. Unless you got the VKs at 50% discount promo.

I'm comparing between K14 wraparound on my Ranger and VK70 wraparound on my Altis. The K14 really has better heat rejection, with only slightly less visibility. Too bad it doesn't look good from outside because of it's reflective surface.
I got my VK for 19k, while K-series wraparound is about 8k. Normal rates are 37k for the VK but they always have discounts (just varying rates from 30-50%). Huper is more consistent with their pricing at 26k for clear tints.

August 14th, 2015 11:09 AM #2968Hi guys! I'm up for 5k PMS tomorrow. Just want to ask if I can make do without fuel treatment and engine flush? And what is a "complete wash"?

^Agree. Never get any unnecessary "add-ons". I actually dont go for the CASA car wash either.
