I don't understand the wife. No circumstance ever justifies that reaction

She should let the husband handle the situation and do the talking and give support only when needed.

No, the gun isn't defective... but they're likely not using it correctly. Hand-aiming the gun without stabilizing it is bound to give erroneous readings. Even swinging it quickly to pick a target can give poor readings. .

This is the most logical explanation for me.

After watching the video again, a question comes to mind. We all want to follow the speed limit but, what if the speedometers of our cars are not really accurate? If the instrument we all trust to give us an accurate reading is defective, should we be blaming those guys?

Tama si cath. The wife should just left the talking to her husband. Hinde Naman siya ang driver eh.

Kung ako yun enforcer I won't even talk to the wife or listen to any of her words. She's not the driver.

Bwisit yan ganyan hinde naman driver siya pa mas madaldal. Parang mga usisero Lang Sa kalsada mas marami pa sinasabi kesa Doon Sa involve talaga.

The question is bakit Sa kanila Lang Ang overspending reading ng Slex gun? To think nahuli Sa sila several times.

A little bit OT mga boss, ano ang magandang android app para ma check ang speed via gps. Wala akong on board gps eh

All factory speedometers read between 5-10% faster than your actual speed.

This is specifically to prevent people from overspeeding, and to prevent lawsuits from people getting speeding tickets who will try to put the blame on a defective speedometer.

Very few cars have a speedometer that is properly calibrated. They used to do it for police cars in the US. Not sure if they still do.

The only time a speedometer will read too slow is if you have much bigger tires on than the factory tires.

I use Ulysses. Terrific interface, great display... easy to set up.

Do note that Android apps are limited by your phone's on-board GPS, which only updates once a second... but that's enough if you only want to know your average speed.

that's a very good question. but we ask ourselves, what are the speed gun and the confiscation of DL are for? EFFECTIVE DETERRENCE. that is SLEX Management primary, if not foremost, responsibility. it's their job to deter overspeeding and imprudent drivers who pose imminent danger to the driving public to be a disaster waiting to happen. now, for example, here is this guy (not mr. gonzales) who has been flagged down several times but has toed the line everytime he passed by SLEX, this will give the management pause to ask why the speed gun and the consequent confiscation of his DL are not effective deterrent to him anymore (rather than act like robots)? in law enforcement, if the law ceases to prevent criminals from committing their wares, you need to know why and later ask for its amendment.
what happened in the Gonzales couple was they took the initiative. they took matters into their own hands and made their own investigation why.
it's SLEX's job to do the investigating, and we even pay them to do that. if our speedometers are defective, then, warn us. these things are not new to them-- they're in business of running toll ways for quite some time.
for that, i blame them.

Thanks for the reply Sir Niky, so Ulysses won't act like a speedometer? My car has onboard average speed display option just wanna countercheck sana with gps. Anyway I feel assured already by your statement that "All factory speedometers read between 5-10% faster than your actual speed."

Do you know how we determined the accuracy of our speedometers in each everyone's car (different make). A simple method we always do. Drive and run in a convoy with only one takes the lead of the speed. The leader may run and maintain speed at 80kph and will not exceed. As we drove in convoy, ( in an expressway ) we glance and look at our speedometer points at that very same speed mark (80kph). It's fun, as we do it every year in a family field trip, or summer outing.

Let say 6 vehicles with different car makes, we all run at a speed of 80kph. All 5 vehicle match in each speedometer gauge, while the remaining 1, his gauge reads at 65kph while we are all running at the same speed. That means his speedometer gauge is out of specs calibration or faulty.
