Pacquiao is really old as far as ring age and his fight style is concern.

The robbery from Bradley and unexpected upset by Marquez contributed to the delay of this fight. So is Arum's greediness.

Mayweather's first fight on the Showtime contract was just 2 yrs ago. So it is not all that. Also Manny could have left Top Rank when he was a free agent.

Manny has a lot left in his tank. He can still beat Marquez for a fifth fight. I think he will dominate younger boxers as well e.g Khan, Broner etc.

Mayweather just made him look ordinary. The same way he did to the 47 boxers before Manny

May galing din talaga si Mayweather kahit takbo ng takbo pinapanuod ko yung galaw nya mabilis din yung right hand niya

pero si Pacman hindi na katulad ng dati na nakikipag sabayan kapag nasa corner na baka nadala na gaya nung laban nya kay Marquez.

Watched the fight again with no commentary and as much as i would like manny to win, floyd simply outclassed him here. Fair and square. Both fighters did what they do best. Manny the attacker and floyd the defender(and a terrific one at that). In the end, the guy with the better boxing IQ prevailed.

Manny's gameplan i think was working after the 5th round but later on floyd slowly adapted to his style. Accurate jabs and brilliant counterpunching from mayweather put him way ahead of points whereas manny seemed like a bit frustrated (desperate) he can't penetrate floyd's defense. And from then on team pac just like went out of options. Some of pac's power punches landed alright but it didn't hurt mayweather like mosley/maidana did past matches ago.

Kudos to floyd. I still hate him as a person hehe but a fan of his boxing skills more than ever. A masterful display of the sweet science.

As for manny, no shame in losing here. He's still my #1 p4p. He proved enough already in the sport as well as our country. I agree he still got plenty left on his tank but who's next? Marquez im pretty sure won't fight him the 5th time. Garcia, broner... These guys are a lot younger and fresher fighters than manny. Garcia is a hardhitter and a big risk for pac. Canelo or golovkin? Nah. Retirement is definitely the option here. Mahirap kung matulad pa sya kay navarete hehe.

I hope manny's shoulder is okay and i pray for his speedy recovery if the reports are true. Pac-bradley 1 was somewhat the same scenario. Si bradley nga lang ang receiving end ng injury (broken foot) pero sa judges' questionable scorecards panalo pa rin siya. And still counted as 1 loss for manny.
