February 10th, 2015 04:17 PM #1412Nasa probinsya ako eh. Try to ask your favorite repair shop kung naka trabaho na ba rin sila ng inhibitor switch. I called up my shop to inquire. So its a common problem. Ang ginawa niya, dismantled the switch, then niliha ang bronze contacts, stretched the coil spring, then re-assemble.

February 23rd, 2015 06:26 PM #1413Sir altec saan shop yung sinasabi mo?

While driving my montero Gls v automatic 2011 model, suddenly shifts back to neutral. We don't have casa in our area so I had it checked in a car shop, the mechanic said to have adjusted something and for 2 weeks it's ok, but now the problem is back!. It's risky because it just suddenly shift back from drive to neutral, I have to stop and place it to park then drive again before if works. Any comments?

The thought just scares me... Imagine the scenario where you are overtaking and the gear shifs to neutral!!...catastrophic indeed. What's worse is that you have shift to P before engaging the D again. So is this an isolated case or others have experienced it?, haven't heard this issue with any automatics of other brands, correct me if i'm wrong.
No fail safe feature??!!.

February 25th, 2015 08:11 AM #1417Na experience ko yan bro, pa overtake ako *60 kph biglang nag jerk or parang nag engine brake yung engine.
Any advice?

Oh man,- nakakatakot iyan,- wala bang ginagawa ang Mitsubishi para i-correct iyan once and for all...?????
Inhibitor switch or Neutral Safety switch malfunction and needs replacement for peace of mind.
And there will be no peace of mind here,- because it could happen any time..... Deym!
It's an accident that is waiting to happen....
I have been driving A/Ts (various makes/models for years,- and I have not encountered a similar issue)

Whoa. I drive a GLS automatic also. This is scary indeed. I'll ask Mitsu to check during next PMS.
