Walang naka pick up sa village namin (meron xwind at adventure, no contest na yun), even sa mga relatives namin. We're still looking at the dmax and hilux din. But i think dmax din ulit ang bagsak namin. Heheheh.
Nag narrow down din choice ko between Hilux and Dmax.. Basically, pinili ko yung D-Max kasi mas updated design kaysa Hilux. At hindi ko rin naman mahihintay yung New Strada at Hilux kasi kailangan ko na talaga ng new vehicle..

*bugoys: Good to know at least tumaas na ang fuel reading mo. Sana hindi na yan bumaba. Have you tried a full tank method? For sure magkaiba yan.

Here was my trifecta last night.

Diesel in Unioil is at 23.70/liter. Less than 1100 for a full tank

Then this is the FC reading on my dash. I couldn't believe that it went up again.

I computed via FT method when I got home and I got 12.125 kms/liter.

Siguro dahil nasanay na ako sa force so it would close properly.

*piloski: Hopefully that would be one of the many good experiences that you will have with your Dmax, sir.

Regarding the kinda restricted acceleration, just observe after the 1st PMS and see if it changes.

We have a neighbor na puro pickup ang vehicles nila, T, M, F badges, honestly hindi ko ma determine kung sino ang pinaka tahimik kasi halos magkaka pareho ng tunog.hehe

*jblue2000: Maybe due to the insulation or sa condition ng engine. I have a Super Grandia and when idle, halos mag kasing tunog lang sila ng Dmax. If ever there is a difference, I think mas maingay ng konti ang Dmax due to the timing gears.

*rna- Its back at 8.7kms/l. Heheheh. Im sure its the oil. I'll probably try other 15w-40, or revert to 10w-30. Or just stay with Delvac. Bahala na. Hahahah. Pero when I do ft method, its at 8.9-9.23kms/l.

I've been there, sir bugoys.

Ung akin, I can't wait to have it checked. Umiingay na ulit kasi ung dati kong narinig na sound and they found out it was the tensioner.

Heheheh. It takes some getting used to. But i'll probably revert to 10w-30, or Shell r4x. Lately napansin ko lakas ng vibration sa 2100 rpm, at any gear, basta it passed 2100, but after that smooth na. Weird.

Tensioner bearing ba yung culprit nung sayo? Or its a totally different thing? If its the former, nasa magkano ba yun?

I was able to test my Dmax LS AT like sir piloski did, 0 to 100 kph from standstill point. It clocked about 11++sec on AT mode and on MT mode about 10++sec, not bad for a pick up truck. I doing this to check if there is a problem with my turbo coz as i mentioned para malakas sipol nya. But if this is the case, sumipol na lng sya ng sumipol hamgang gusto nya. Hehehehe. So far iam well satisfied with this ute, its ride, fuel efficiency and power when u need it. Planning to change wider tires to 265 to have a more stable ride into curves.

I really wonder, why they slap on a 245 tire on the dmax, wherein almost all the competition is at 265, except I think the Navara which is the same if not lower.

*tisoy- Sir, let us know if your fuel mileage, acceleration, 0-100kph change after you change your tire to a larger one.

Its already 2015... Kelan kaya lalabas ang dmax with vgs sa bansa natin? (4jk1-tcx or better yet the 4jj1-tcx). If isuzu ph can do it with the mu-x, bat di kayang gawin sa d-max...

Most likely after 2016 when Euro IV diesel will be required by law.

Isuzu Dmax Owners [continued]
