Yeng Guiao gets another P30k fine for contact with Talk ?N Text import Richard Howell | InterAksyon.com | Sports5
Rain or Shine coach Yeng Guiao’s wallet got a little thinner on Wednesday after the PBA slapped him a P30,000 fine for an incident involving Talk ‘N Text import Richard Howell in their PLDT Home TVolution Commissioner’s Cup series opener last Monday.
Howell lost his temper and had to be restrained after Guiao brushed against the import with his arm in the dying seconds of the game.
Guiao earlier maintained that it was Howell who initiated the contact.
“I held my ground, siya yung dumaan dun, andun na ako eh,” said Guiao after the game.
The coach also alleged that Howell directed profanity at him, a charge that the import has denied.
It was the second big ticket fine for Guiao from the PBA in as many weeks. He was slapped a P100,000 sanction last week after using a slur against Meralco forward Cliff Hodge in their quarterfinals series.
Guiao was also fined P100,000 last conference for flashing a dirty finger at PBA officials in the Philippine Cup semifinals.

Allado and Roger Yap to play for Blackwater...
New PBA team Blackwater Sports takes a look at Don Allado, Roger Yap in practice | PBA | SPIN.PH
BLACKWATER Sports has started its search for players for its PBA roster with still months before its debut in the pro league's 2014-2015 season.
A source told Spin.ph that free agents Roger Yap and Don Allado have begun attending practices of Blackwater Sports as the team looks for potential players for its PBA lineup.
As it is, Blackwater Sports as well as expansion teams NLEX and Kia Motors were not granted direct-hire privileges, leaving them with no option but to look for free agents through the expansion draft.
Yap and Allado currently have no team in the PBA after having been left unsigned by Barako Bull and Meralco, respectively.
Without a team, Allado has being doing television work for Sports5 in its PBA coverage.
Blackwater has been aaggressive in its search for players, even looking at the possibility of signing retired pro stars Kenneth Duremdes and Marlou Aquino.
Recently, the Dioceldo Sy-owned franchise expressed its intention to sign Asi Taulava once his contract with Air21 expires in August.
Taulava started his basketball career in the Philippines with the Sy-owned Blu Detergent in the defunct Philippine Basketball League.
