January 28th, 2014 11:39 AM #1393rear fog left and right + a bigger and longer tail pipe finish
Sir c_cube...ask ko lang are those customized or you bought them as is? I plan to do the same but can't find any from accessory shops here in my place (Angeles City). Magpapagawa na lang ako customize stainless din exactly as the current one except bigger at ilalabas din ng kaunti same as yours. I think the current one is 3"diameter and yun pinalalagay ko is 4" diameter, however since the oem is welded, they suggested na putulin then idugtong yung bigger tail pipe. Just wondering if magbabago ba tunog? Coz' I want to retain yung tunog. I was quoted nga pala 1,500k each. Thanks...

bought it as is at Mufferland and cost me 4K (2K each)
they had to cut the OEM tail pipe then weld the bigger and longer tail pipe. took them apx 30-40 mins to do everything.
Change in sound is minimal. you wont notice it unless you come closer. but definitely, inside the cabin it's the same.

February 2nd, 2014 11:30 AM #1397hi mga sir! new cx5 owner ako and share ko lang yung sinabi sa akin kahapon during my first 1000 kms. PMS na dapat daw 91 octane or below lang ang gamitin for our CX5.. sabi nya sa akin going beyond 91 octane daw can be detrimental to the engine as it can't handle higher octanes based daw sa research ng planta! tapos ngbbgy pa sila ng card parang calling card saying "fill-up with 91 octane gasoline (or lower octane level)".. gaano katotoo kaya ito mga co-cx5 owners? nagaalangan ako sa sinabi nya na to kasi pati yun battery ng cx5 na for start stop sabi nya pwede dw mga motolite batteries on the market.. sa mazda q. ave nga pala ako ng pa PMS! hope to hear your feedbacks and TIA!

Misspelling pa lang sa card parang wala na akong tiwala. Mali ang gets sa "at least". Our 10k old cx5 runs on Nitro+. No gains on higher octane blends.
Using gas with lower than recommended octane ratings will cause knock. Mas malala sya sa high comp engines like the Skyactiv. Eh kung yung mga 2009 Forester nga at least Blaze ang requirement pero it runs ok on 93.
I'd stick to 93 if I were you. With the "quality" of our gas very likely lower than 93 ang actual content non. Onti lang naman difference sa presyo and with my route and style mas matipid pa tuloy ako sa 93 compared to 91.

February 3rd, 2014 11:29 AM #1400meron pa bang 93 octance fuel? the gas stations in our area (Valenzuela) are all 91 and 95 octane only.
