May 18th, 2013 05:11 AM #2684casa is the auto manufacturer's official showroom and fixit shop.
the perception is that since it is the official repair shop of the manufacturer, the workers there know all there is to know about their car, the necessary tools, official (not replacement!) parts, everything. this is where car owners who know nothing about cars, can bring their cars for servicing. this is where car warranty requirements are done.
this is also the most expensive place to have your car serviced.

Know nothing about cars? Get a bike.
Well, most of them.
Newbies must learn... gaya nga ng sabi ni Vin Diesel (if i remember it right):
"If you don't know the the right tools to use on your car, then you don't have the right to get near your car".

May 18th, 2013 12:32 PM #2688... used to do lotsa things to our cars. but now, i do not have the time nor the waistline, to tinker with my cars. that's why i simply bring them to the casa.. "bossing,, etong problema.. bahala na kayo.. tawagan nyo ako kung may ma-diskubre pa kayong ibang sira, at kung magkano.... text nyo ako pag tapos na."
(i have an idea of what's wrong with the car. i just don't have the time to look over their shoulders as they fix it..)
but for basic wear and tear like brakes, oil change, battery and the like, i go to the neighborhood auto supply cum mekanikong nakatambay, for quick fix-no waiting service..
btw, the price difference between "made in chicago usa" from "made in china" tools, is easily thrice the price.. but worth every penny.Last edited by dr. d; May 18th, 2013 at 12:43 PM.
