That's what mazdas are known for, the Zoom Zoom feeling, except the "matipid" word until the CX-5 came. i hope they could deploy skyactive engines to other models ASAP. BTW, congrats to your new ride!

I am more and more enticed to go with the CX-5. Too bad kabibili ko lang ng sa akin last year. BTW, Sir, how much offer sa inyo ng Mazda Cavite and ano ang mga freebies? Ito yung nasa may Anabu right? Thank you.

push start ba ang cx5? wala kasi spec sheet sa mazda ph site. paki share naman ng spec sheet kung sino meron.. thanks a lot

tama po sir ito yung sa anabu beside ford showroom, a/t cash price is 1.458m, the usual freebies, 3m tint, seat cover, matting w/ mazda logo + 1 mazda umbrella.

Just came from a Mazda showroom over lunch. Took the CX-5 for a short test drive -- as I was helping a friend out with his choices.

The power is ok. It's no diesel torque monster, but it's got a responsive engine. Love the handling though -- felt planted on turns taken at speed. Very nice.

Some tidbits:
- Sales agent was saying that the CX-5's torque figures bested the RAV4's (or was it the CRV's). "160 yung sa amin, 150 lang yung sa RAV4/CRV." Trying to say that torque can also sell cars. But not saying what unit of measure that 160 was.
- Vertigo's FC is pretty spot on. The agent says that 10 km/L city drive is realistic. I'll believe her.
- D*mn that blue color. Ganda!

I often kid my boss who has a BMW X5 saying "Boss, pareho na tayong naka X5, may "C" nga lang sa akin! To compare, the CX-5 is really like Asia's BMW. Of course there is no comparison but it just feels like it when you step into one. That's just me trying to up the value of my ride. Hehe.
