XOOM and GREENFUEL would be recommended. Their contact info is listed in this thread, just go back a page or two to see it.
As for the price, best to inquire with the installers because they can offer you options (and prices) regarding the installations, mainly in the type/size of LPG tank and where you place it.

October 19th, 2011 02:33 AM #3752Im going to lpgenized my innova soon, i've read from the past post that there is one innova owner that used a split fuel system. What would be the pros.and cons of this system compared to the dual fuel system?
although im satisfied with my greenfuel convertion so far. . . Im a bit skeptical on their chosen ecu packaging. The ecu is encased on a plastic generic box that came from raon. Which i think really is the original packaging of ultragas ecu. I dont know if it would stand the test of time.

October 19th, 2011 08:43 PM #3754i find lpg conversion interesting. i do have questions though:
what are the downside? a few months back, i got to talk to a mechanic while waiting or my parts in an autosupply. he was overhauling a vios. he said parang ginamitan daw ng acetelyne yung valvr sa damage. he blamed lpg on the cause.
also, when i ride an lpg powered taxi, there is a different smell. dont know how to describe it but when a taxi passes, i can smell that scent from the exhaust.
makati daw sa lalamunan, may shortness of breath and frrquent headachea daw pag exposed ka...
are any of these true? What caused this? im thinking of having an lpg conversion on my vios.

*sirkosero,
Taxi ba yung nakita mong ino-overhauled? usually taxi's are abused and even neglected in terms of maintenance and then they blame everything on LPG. Taxi's don't even use correct coolant mixture for their radiators that is why you see Vios with pop up hoods around.
Properly installed LPG kit does not emit that unburned LPG on the exhaust and inside the cabin fume. Usually those taxi's that has the smelly cabin are taxi's that has a removed tank valve/pressure gauge cover. Usually taxi driver removed the cover when filling to see the gauge meter better and simply forgot to put it back or it is already broken and not locking anymore.

taxi unit ba? ... if yes, taxi drivers tend to adjust the LPG mix to extreme lean. That can result in the damage you observed.

October 20th, 2011 08:27 PM #3757thanks mile2 and GH.
yes, its a taxi. maybe its just running too lean kaya nasira. tama ba na even gasoline powered cars would exihibit the symptom kapag lean?
about the medical question, ive been back reading and searching various thread in differrent forum. usually ai gh sumasagot (incluing top gear)hehe
anyway, back to more question, in conversion, will they change the existing fuel rail or bubutasan lang nila? Di naman siguro sila gagawa ng bagong intake manifold diba?
whats the difference between and sgi and efi kit? I read sa website (greenfuel ata) na efi for those with metal intake manifold while sgi for thise with plastic manifold. whats the difference? Performance ba? pareho naman sila may ecm diba?
iba ba talaga amoy ng exhaust ng lpg compared sa regular gas? Or yung mabaho lang eh mga hindi properly tuned?
sorry dami tanong. very interesting topic we have here eh. :-)

Yes, gasoline or LPG, if you run the air-fuel mix too lean, it would have the same effects on the engine. With LPG kits, it is sometimes too easy to tamper with the LPG flow regulator to make it run leaner. Taxi drivers do that to save on LPG. Later they blame LPG use in damaging their engines.
I have been driving my Auto-LPG fed corolla for years, I have yet to experience any similar problems they have mentioned.

SGI-LPG kits is similar to your modern gasoline fuel injection system. One injector per cylinder. Accurate fuel mixture. Power similar to stock.
Venturi LPG kits are similar to carburators or early single point fuel injection systems. LPG is mixed with the intake air as it enters the intake manifold. Amount of LPG flowed is regulated by vacuum pressure and regulator settings. The kit is cheaper and results in a small loss of engine power when compared to gasoline operation. Sensitive to air-filter condition and altitude changes. (example if you drive up to baguio, the engine will run rough/rich because of the lower air pressure).

October 21st, 2011 12:26 AM #3759thanks again GH.
id like to clarify that they will disable the stock injectors. If this is the case how will it run on unleaded? Will the lpg injectors work for both lpg and unleaded?
also, i read at greenfuel that they have a conversion shop in jprizal makati. i passed there but there seems to be no garage. will all brances be able to do conversion? Im.planning to visit some shops to do further research eh.
please pardon my questions as i am just on page 56 of the original thread though ive read a number of pages in this current thread.

When you are running on LPG, the stock gasoline fuel injectors are disabled. But if you are running on gasoline, its enabled. The fuel injectors are wired to an electronic box which selects which set of injectors to use.
When I said disabled, I meant electronically disabled. Not permanently disabled.
