August 16th, 2011 09:11 PM #1801Mga Sir,
Any experience with this tint?
Tapos nakakita ako ng back up sensor black ang color, wla sila red.

August 16th, 2011 10:27 PM #1803Is it time to start our own little elantra club? So we have a repository of info, periodic maintenance price, and mods.

ung back up sensor, try to consider ung 'no hole' type para di na magbutas. although I think mas accurate padn ung may butas. just that di ko trip may butas sa bumper

August 17th, 2011 07:00 AM #1809For those thinking of changing your tints, you might want to invest on 3M or solarguard tints. They're better than the cheap ones and they have warranty naman. I plan to have a clear tint installed (solarguard) this weekend as the medium black tint they installed in the casa had too many scratches. And dumadami pa through everyday use. Plus nahihirapan ako magdrive lalo sa gabi.
I plan to have the horns replaced with either a bosch europa or mitsuba. Question is, will any warranty be voided?
I'm all in for an Elantra club para at least we'll have a group to compare and share ideas, shops, tweaks, etc for the good of our dear Elantras.

August 17th, 2011 07:11 AM #1810Congratulations on your purchase Sir! I also have the 1.6AT in ceramic white last July.
1. No autolock feature ata talaga PHDM Elantras unless somebody here has tried to have it reprogrammed sa casa.
2. Yes, the keyless remote won't work when inserted in the ignition.
3. No idea, though I know someone here mentioned he had an aftermarket alarm installed instead of the stock (which also trigerred the autolock feature to be activated)
4. Go for solar guard (or SolarGard?). The tint they used in the casa was prone to scratches and bubbles. I plan to have a clear tint installed to replace the medium tint the casa installed. Para kita kagwapuhan ng driver. Hehe!
5. I use a back up camera and I rely heavily on it since mataas talaga puwet ng elantra. So far ok naman sya kahit gabi. I just dread the day I see a lady in white dress in the LCD screen when I shift to reverse gear.
6. Malamig talaga ata AC since bago pa. Hehe!
7. I always use my palm to honk the horns. Hehe!
