sir, anybody here who had just recently bought their tires (235/70/15)? hope you are willing to share the price, including the brand and the store you bought it. its really annoying to canvass price where stores have different prices for the same brand and size. TIA.

Michelin's LTX A/T will easily outlast Goodyear Fortera a good 15-20Tkms or more. So will Bridgestone Dueler 683's but not as much. Cheaper is not always better, you should be looking at cost/km instead of the tire's srp.

I'd also check with the casa re:pricing of original parts, nowadays the price difference between Banawe shops and the casa is so small its not worth the risk of getting counterfeit parts (usually the case with Banawe shops). They all look the same on the outside, you'll probably end up paying near original part prices for replacement parts made to look like originals.

I very much agree with this. . .on michelin tires, i bought my car with 77k mileage, di pa pinapalitan ang micheln tires, i just recently bought 2 cause i went for a very long trip pero kaya pa siguro kahit 10k mileage. . .

sa parts, i already pointed it out in my previous post, mas mura pa sa CASa ngayon kasi you can get 5 - 15 percent discount. . . that's even comparing with WALCO and Jaysons. . .

my water pump is leaking, engine is 4jx1.

the shop said to replace "water pump" as well as a part called "fan clutch" (recommended, since nandun narin daw). almost 14,000php damage sa pocket.

has any of you guys have your 4jx1 serviced with this problem?
    san mura?

na-observe ko lang kasi na tumataas na presyo/patong ng shop na pinupuntahan ko. based on parts canvass from jayson and walco and past prices on their service.

    thanks..
