vdubfreq, yeah, may dalawa nga silang split widow bug, yung isa ragtop pa, pero di ko na nakikita eh.

angelfyr, yung 2 bugs ko, stock lang ang wheels and tires niya, wala naman problema, mas malambot pa nga siya sa ibang newer, non-power steering cars eh. imo, mas importante ang aircon. btw, any specific model ng beetle? vintage? super beetle?

glad to see you vw freaks here! im on the process of restoring my 1979 twin carbs 1600 beetle! it would be done by feb pa siguro, final stages pa lang sa body repairs, i month painting pa plus detailing et.seq. modifications?:D

hmm. meron kme sa haus as in lumang beetle... its like... 1960 pa ata yun e... wala lang.. nakatambay lang sa haus. the last tym na gnamit namin yun was 2 yrs ago. pero bago natigil sa haus un, bagong overhaul. ngaun sabi ng mom ko kung paaandarin ulet un change oil, lagay gas tapos baterya. ewan ko lng. sayang eh. ganda pa naman. konting hilamos lang ng pintura ok na un!! pero alam ko wla nman binago dun e.... sayang nga eh nawala na ung mga orig na mga bumpers nun, gus2 sana namin irestore sa dating look nya e.

cargirl, kung bumpers lang ang kulang, madali lang i-restore yan. maraming suppliers dito ng vw parts, kaya there will be no problem on your part if you decide to restore it. sayang talaga yan, mukhang vintage model pa yung na inyo eh.

actually angelfyr, if you go for the original tires okay lang, mabigat na sya if modified ang rims as in naka- magwheels ka na. in my case, i had changed the rack & pinion itself to make it powered. changed it with a corrola na surplus r&p restoring a beetle is tedious and pretty expensive, you must have the heart for it otherwise manghihinayang ka lang

bumpers cost like 2 thiu front and rear na yan, euro blade. your 60 is a classic, pang car-show na yan, better have it restored girl! it pays to invest in precious metal! :D

1.8t, ok na yang mods mo, ako ang gusto ko yung new beetle na turbo s 1.8t, 180hp!!!

btw, i saw a corrado g60 being sold here sa kanto namin, di ko lang alam kung how much.
