Can't find the orig thread so I'm starting a new one for info you can share regarding specs, repairs, etc done on your Trooper/Big Horn. (UBS69)
Had my Steering gear box repaired for leaking ATF. Glad to see that an original gear box was installed. (Have a converted UBS69).
Specs of gear box:
Mfg: Jidosha Kiki co.,Ltd.
Part No. 441-00107
Ser.No. 9710
The original repair kit is not yet available (baka sa casa o Walco meron).
Steering Unit (Gear Box)
Isuzu Part No. 8-94375-203-4 (my unit has the ff: no. 894110197??)
Year: 10/91-03/94
Repair Kit
Isuzu Part No. 8-97029-945-0 01
Cousin Ferdie did my unit. Since the repair kit was not yet available he removed all the oil seals (3 pcs.) and O-rings (3 pcs.) and we bought it "as per sample". Php 900 lahat. The Isuzu kit is Php 1,900. We used his car to go around Kalookan looking for parts. It took us 10:30-4:00p.m Pag may piyesa na half day kaya. If you can find the repair kit better. May isang oil seal na mahirap hanapin. Cousin Ferdie is matiyaga and knows what he's doing. Masikip lang going to his place in Lukban/R.Papa in Kalookan. Masarap naman yung palabok sa kantoFor now ok naman yung takbo. Hopefully walang mag-leak. I got orig seals and the complete specs if ever smeone needs it. For DC.Org members I am willng to share my spare parts list(everything except engine coz galing sa U.S). Ito yung gamit sa casa. A complete Workshop Manual is also arriving by mid-December. (3 volumes). I also have a complete owners manual (translated from Japanese) and a U.S issued manual. Nap: Long time no hear. Ma-post ko dun sa isang thread. Attn: admin, pwede ma merge? Orig Isuzu gearbox yung naka-kabit so di ko na pinaltan. Just bought oil seals and repair kit. 2.5K gastos. Kay Cousin Ferdie ko pinagawa. Nga pala read dun sa isang thread na you said mas mahal ang Pajero sa BigHorn? When I was scouting for my unit the 2.5 Pajero is around 50K cheaper than the BigHorn. The 2.8 unit is a little more expensive.
