June 28th, 2009 01:07 PM #211sir mey0r thanks for the info on nitro. i guess it really pays to use nitro than compressed air. kaya pala mabagal bumaba ang TP ng Santa Fe ko dahil nitro filled ang tires. Yung Jazz bilis bumaba ng TP.
You made me a believer in using nitro in tires.

for me, ok ang nitro sa tires... im currently using it in our vios and altis, no significant difference on fuel economy and tire life. pero once nung i have all my 45 series tires check, then napalitan ng regular compressed air ung laman, medyo nabawasan ung pagkastiff nung ride, but as soon as i have them refilled with nitro again, its back to the stiff ride, oks lang, may pagkatamad din ako magcheck ng tp kase eh...
tp is 32 for nitro and panandalian compressed air
OT: balik again sa alog utak ridemiss those stock 70 series tires

Your scientific premise is seriously FLAWED. How could Nitrogen be larger than Oxygen when its atomic Weight and Number are lower? Check this Periodic Table.
After Oxygen, the next most common gases in air are Argon (Atomic No. 18) and CO2 (even bigger than Argon).
If I were your professor, I'd give you an F for b#%sh^ting.

E kung Helium na lang kaya??? It weighs less than Nitro and Oxy. Will it make your car "lighter"? :grin2:

July 2nd, 2009 12:31 AM #217i think the best conclusion to this topic is that if you use nitrogen in your tires you will surely feel the difference in your pocket. heheheeh

edi mas magaan ang pockets...alaws na laman eh
why not our exhaust fumes/gasses, since it only damage Mother Earth? why not store it in our tires? hehehe can that be posible? di ata

Haha.
Now THAT's an idea. But I think unless you own a monster truck whose inflated tire mass is significant compared to the vehicle mass it won't make much difference.
Besides, who knows what compounds go into making today's modern tires. Helium might be bad for them.

i'd tried nitrogen into my tires with 50 series and masasabi ko lang... medyo nanibago ang ride at first....but i guess it was only mind over matter that i'm feeling that day kasi uwi ako ng cavite....matagtag pa rin. sayang 75 petot ko for each tire...
"bull-sheep"(find this kind of animal..)
what i'm concerned of is how would we know that its nitrogen inside the tank?... baka kasi pa-utot lang ng ibang shop tapos compress air lang din naman pala yun.
