hehehe.. yup sana nga magpa fabricate ako... but the cost would be high for just 1 grille to make... so, i look for an old grille d2 sa shop dat we replaced b4 and nagwakas din... nakakita ako with minimal damage lang... had some fiberglass fixing lng and tapos.. in the process of taking out the chrome plating... hehehehe.... i.body color ko lang the grill and the screen would be black... hehehe....

or maybe just take out the middle grille horizontal line.. and leave the 2 horizontal lines sa side.. so, just the middle grille would have the bog hole.. hehehe...

pre memps, taking out the vertical lines would leave the grill unsatble... walang suport ang upper part ng grill and mejo maninpis lang kc ang plastic sa top portion... isip2x nga ako ng mga paraan... hehehehe

I can tell if my tires are slippery when my right leg aches in stop and go traffic. Lumalaki na calf muscle ko, hehe.
But seriously I think the Bridgestones are hard compound, madulas kasi pag basa specially on asphalt. Braking distance is not so good. I tried a softer compound tire, Yokohama yata yun, on my old Frontier. Sarap ng cornering, effortless pa ang braking. I didn't notice this until me and my brother switched cars. When I went back to using my Dmax I really felt the difference. Acceleration is effortless on the Dmax but braking really is a pain, specially in Manila.
Sana makalbo na gulong ko para mapalitan na, hehe.
My friend has a Ranger, masubukan nga kung mas responsive ang VGT compared to ours. I think the new Starex has VGT too.

The OEM Bridgetones are hard compound. So hard you can actually run them till 100k plus mileage. Value for money yes but difficult in certain driving conditions.
This is why I opted to sell mine and get wider, softer compound tires (Dunlop AT3) which also has a softer sidewall which is perfect for pick-up trucks. When I go on my regular hi-way runs I have more confidence in cornering.

October 17th, 2008 09:29 PM #4228Hi guys! I just want your answers or your experiences on your DMAX. I have a 2008 MAX and we just bought it June. Now my odometer reads 4050KM. I noticed about a month ago that in the mornings when i start the engine i hear rattling noise. When i traced the noise it came from the transmission so i tried pressing the clutch then the noise is gone. So i just drove the truck on my usual route. When i stopped at my office i listened to it again and the rattling sound is still there but minimal. So i had it checked at our local Isuzu dealer here and they said it must be the clutch so they scheduled it for clutch disc replacement. Today i had the clutched disc changed and when we started the engine the sound is still there. What seems to be the problem here guys any who has experience this on a Manual tranny MAX? They didn't replace the release bearing because its not available in their stock or maybe they just dont want to replace it. Guys please help me with this tranny problem. Maybe you can share your experience w/ it and help me or others also who have this problem w/ their clutch.
Hoping for your reply guys.
Sorry for the long explaination but i have to share it w/ you because i'm disappointed with the clutch replacement result. Its still the same.

October 18th, 2008 08:52 AM #4230Mine is 08 Dmax LS M/T, bought it last August and odo reads just above 4110 kms. I hear that clutter sound too and when I press the clutch, it will become less noisy. I don't know the reason behind that but it sounds normal to me. I think Isuzu engines have that very audible clutter sound.
