Napansin yo ba lately hindi nade-delete ng YahooPOPs yung emails nyo from your account lately? You will still be able to download emails, even the old and read emails. The next thing you'll know is that your yahoo mail has exceeded and over quota, end result, bouncing emails!
Then you'll have to login to Yahoo mail to delete all previously read mails via pop3.
Important for SSL users: download updated libcurl.dll file here!
Replace existing YahooPOPs.exe by downloading patched *.exe file here! (464KB, it is very important to check the file size you are downloading, I downloaded a 52KB file which doesn't work!)
Paste these files into your C:\Program Files\YahooPOPs folder and replace the old files. Repeat! Do not rename, just copy and paste.
One more thing before I forget, you should exit YahooPOPs software first before attempting to replace the old files.

YPOPs! is an application that provides POP3 access to Yahoo! Mail. It is available on the Windows, Linux, Solaris and Mac platforms.
Yahoo! Mail disabled free access to its POP3 service on 24th April, 2002. This application emulates a POP3 server and enables popular email clients like Outlook, Netscape, Eudora, Mozilla, etc., to download email from Yahoo! accounts. They do not go against the license agreements of Yahoo! Mail. This application is completely legitimate and well within the realms of legal software.

To make it simple, its a software that Outlook or Outlook Express needs to be able to donwload emails without the hassle of logging into your account via IE.
You can use OE or MS Outlook to be able to check on your Yahoo mails. Much like yahoo.com.cn emails, though it doesn't need YPOPs software.
