November 21st, 2015 09:58 PM #43I visited Ace Hardware this afternoon to look for a replacement for our retired 25 year old national heater, the sales lady of Champs boast its copper heating tank with a high cost and will say only champs have maintained the copper heating tank and she opened the panasonic and AEG which both have a mother board and boasted the simple michanical (sabi niya) system of Champs and you will see that both panasonic and AEG has a plastic tank.
But panasonic is a good brand for water heater for it is previously the National brand (the tested brand), nice 9 safety Points and has a filter and ELB which the Champs do not have. If you read the 9 safety feature, you will understand that the tank is plastic because its copper tank is insulated by plastic. The Champs saleslady's is not true. Panasonic also have a Copper Heater unit which is more durable than plastic.
The Verdict, Panasonic won. Insulated Copper tank, flow sensor, ELB, 1.9psi minimum pressure against champs 2.5psi minimum pressure.Last edited by nhojnalor; November 21st, 2015 at 10:00 PM. Reason: Spelling

Has anyone here installed a different shower head connected to those wall mounted water heaters? Specifically those rain shower ones.
I'm planning to retrofit one of those fixed large rain shower heads (maybe one between 10" to 15" depending on the price and quality), a guy from home depot told me its possible by using one of those T pipes.
Anyone got any experience?
What's a good rain shower head brand that has good quality?
Thanks!
