Which brand/s model/s do you have in your home or office? How long do these things last? Choosing between a GE and a Toshiba bottom loader.
Is it true that Toshiba is just a re-badged Midea?

Using Tylr bottom load we got from SnR a couple months back. Still working good. Used to have a Hanabishi top load but it was vibrating like hell already when the water level is at half to empty so we just opted to replace.

We have a top-load type from Camel. Haven't had any issues since 2015.
I've since added smart switches so I can schedule and automate the hot and cold functions individually or control them via Alexa.

Thanks for the replies guys. I'll take a look at those models. Hopefully all have 5 year warranty for the compressor at least.

November 13th, 2020 09:21 PM #8I also noticed that some hot/cold dispensers have a bigger capacity (of hot or cold water) than others. I wonder how we will be able to know the capacity of such dispensers when we decide to buy one? I tried asking the salesperson but I don't think they even know that there is a difference
