guys,
i'm tyring to setup our INHOUSE mail server here in the office! I have some problems configuring it though... i set it up as instructed in the procedural manual - problem is i CAN SEND, but I CAN NOT RECIEVE emails...
all MX / DNS & Ahost records are working perfectly fine (via the DNS Querry Tool that comes with the program). The Mail Server is "Pingable" from the internet, no problems are found if u run the Dns Checker as well.
From the ERROR LOG, there appears to be no error at all!
Did i missed anything? H.E.L.P
Thanks in advance...

could it be due to routing?
here's our set up:
DSL to SWITCH: connected by a CROSS cable
SWITCH to ROUTER : connected by a CROSS cable
ROUTER to MAIL SERVER: connected by a straight UTP cable.
SWITCH to LAN - all distributed by a straight cable
thanks again!

Try mong mag telnet Mailserver 25, outside firewall or on the Internet side. This is to see if SMTP Port 25 is open on your mail server on the Internet side. Otherwise your MAilserver will not received emails via SMTP from Internet sender.

check your dns configuration.
dapat meron kang MX record entry that points to your mail server. in addition to the 'A' record.

Go to www.dnsreport.com and enter the name of your zone file to check for configuration errors.
