February 6th, 2008 10:27 PM #11finally got one from an electronic store ... smallest size lang available, dumudulas ... but i managed to unscrew and fixed the darn adapter ... broken cable lang ang problema but the break was just inside the rubber grommet ... if i simply cut the grommet and solder the broken conductor, it won't be as reliable as cutting the cable, resolder the ends to the pcb inside, and grommet goes to the bin

and yes it does look like it is designed for clockwise (for tightening) only but the correct screwdriver can still unscrew it with due care so as not to wear out the head as it tends to slip
