i'm using an old-school olympus camedia c-830L digicam and a couple of weeks ago, i thought the memory card (smartmedia type) went kaput as it gives the symbol of a white rectangle and sort of a cross/crucifix inside of it). i've used another smartmedia card but same problem, and i tried checking the manual, it doesn't state what that sign means.

anyone know what that is and what the possible failed component(s) is/are?

anyone know of repair centers na rin for olympus digicams?
