December 7th, 2013 11:24 AM #1Guys,
Have you encountered the "No Sim card installed" problem?
Since yesterday, my IP5 has been giving me this message. A few restarts will solve it then after after a few hours, it will show that message again. The phone is totally useless when it comes to contacting others when that problem happens.
It happened before, 2x, about 3 or 4 months ago, and it recurred yesterday until today.
I have researched on the net and it seems that a lot of people abroad have experienced this problem too even if they updated their software to iOS7.
Had this happened to you? What solved it?

Buti nalang I have my 3 yr old beaten but very reliable Nokia E63. Buti pa yun never nagka problem.

Tama ang hinala ko, ung hairline space/gap between the sim and sim tray, it causes the sim to move. Kasi I tried it on my gf's IP5, di niya din mabasa. But when she put her sim in mine, ok and her sim fits perfectly on the sim tray, hindi kayang islide.
I brought it to Smart, they replaced the sim.
