"Multi-directional" microphone for PC

Hello guys! I was wondering if you can help me out here.

I'm looking for a "multi-directional" mic that I can use on one of our PCs here. The idea is to use that mic whenever we do conference call using VoIP on any of the computers we have here. With the mic we are currently using, we either have to speak directly to the mic or grab it and place it near the person who is speaking, which is not efficient.

i've seen something lika that way back in college. i still see them being used today. we used them in a subject before, where the instructor is off site while holding his lecture and we can freely interact with him through this device. it like an inverted dish or something like that
