January 30th, 2018 08:28 PM #1So I had a carpenter ghetto mod the midplate of my Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX (to fit a 280mm rad) and the PCI slots grill (to vertically mount my GPU). It turned out "ok" but there were some scratches (metal exposed) that I want to remedy. What is the best thing to do with these scratches? I figure I can use touch-up paints for cars or spray paints, whichever is easier and a closer match to the original color. The official color of the case is "Satin Black".
Here are some pics of what I mean:
P.S. I have zero confidence in myself in doing case mods but if I can get away with doing a little touch-up paint myself then I'm all for it.

I dont think merong 90 degree bend. You will need to cut it midway to make it bend.

It's a computer. It's not worth the effort to cover up scratches. I don't think anyone would notice.

January 31st, 2018 08:20 AM #9Yes, it's just tye OCD in me that's coming into play. After all, this case is not cheap at P10K. If it was an old case then I'd care less but this is a new build.
But yeah, I just use sharpie last night and it doesn't look real bad despite the color mismatch.Yup minessage ko na rin si Mhike pero I don't think worth it ang gagastusin para lang dito.

January 31st, 2018 08:49 AM #10Will you be able to see those scratches once you install the components inside? If not, then any paint pen or even permanent marker pen will do.
