January 16th, 2007 10:02 AM #1I have downloaded a few shows from abs-cbn.com. However, when I start burning them, I had this warning, "You have no media rights", "You can not burn the files", etc. The file is in WMV format. I think the files are protected for copying/burning.
Para sa mga IT experts, is there any way to possibly burn them? Any backdoor to go thru? Is there any settings that I have to do in my computer? Thanks.

hopefully you have Windows Media Player 9 or 10. not 11
Try using FairUse4WM ver. 1.3

If you paid for it, then it probably is protected wmv files. If you downloaded it via P2P, it probably isn't protected. What program are you using to burn them with? You just may need a newer version of your program.
For example, Ulead Video Studio 6 cannot import wmv files (although it can export to that format). But, Ulead Video Studio 10 can.
Power Director 3 is a video-editing app that came with my video card. I've also used it to make dvd's from wmv format files.Last edited by Jun aka Pekto; January 16th, 2007 at 10:47 AM.
