Sony Cybershot W310 = P5,700
Canon Ixus 105 = P7,400
Review and compare:

My choice: Canon IXUS 105 ... although costs more, it is a more technically superior camera which should result in more better pictures.

Canon Powershot S95 is great for the more advanced photographer who wants something compact. Something that has similar capacity to shoot images as his DSLR without the bulk.
But the S95 as a simple P&S camera is an overkill for most people who just wants to take home a few vacation pics or pics of the kids.
It's also expensive at around P20k.

By the way, is the Canon Ixus 105 the same as the Canon Ixy 200F? My wife has the Ixy and it looks similar to the Ixus.
