August 30th, 2007 09:18 AM #1I'm very furious right now. I have a roaming account and two days ago I got a text message stating that my load balance was below 100 pesos and the account will be turned off if I don't put more money in it within 24 hours. i immediately loaded my account for 2,000 pesos a few minutes right after receiving the message. so this morning after i got up, my roaming account has been turned off. i repeatedly called Globe's international roaming customer service (730-1000 and 730-1212). no one from their end is picking up the darn phone. their website does not even list their customer service phone. so i'm left with no roaming service after giving them my hard earned money. do you guys have a different contact information for Globe Telecom?
Thanks in advance!

Bad trip talaga ang customer service ng Globe. Sinasadya yata nila na busy parati yung mga hotlines nila para maburyong ka at mawalan ng ganang tumawag.
I remember last month when I called their customer service (Saturday) to inquire about their loyalty promo (free handset). Sabi sa akin, after 3 working days, may tatawag na Loyalty Officer. So, I followed it up Wednesday night. Aba, wala pa raw feedback, dapat daw 5 working days. Ok fine, tawag ulit ako Saturday. Wala pa din feedback. After several more calls after a 2 week period, tsaka lang may tumawag. Iba yata ang calendar nila, 3 working days is equivalent to 2 weeks sa kanila.

Here in Tarlac, in the past few weeks, there were days na hindi makatawag or text using Globe.
And re: Loyalty promo, I inquired about it last month and I was told I can get a Nokia 6300 or 25K of bill rebate spread in 2 years. Then last week I called again, biglang naging Nokia 5070 nalang and 12K nalang yung rebate! Ang sabi sa akin nagkamali daw sila nung una! WTF!

Get a Smart prepaid roaming simcard next time. That's what I use, dinadala ko sa US for when my wife sends text messages then I reply with my US phone para hindi ako load nang load. Smart prepaid roaming sims also last much longer than Globe units.

August 31st, 2007 09:08 AM #10P***** ina!!!! hayop na balasubas na Globe Telecom na iyan. i have been calling Globe's customer service (if you call it that) for the past 36 hours. last night i tried calling the cust. service number and it just kept ringing and ringing until I got fed up and had to hang up. so much for a gawd awful "24 hour customer service hotline" so today, i called the number again. guess what? somebody picks up then hangs up. pu**agis!! ano bang ginagawa ng mga employees nila? may strike ba sila?
So after over 36 hours, i'm left with no roaming service and down 2,000 pesos.
so yung mga nasa labas ng Philippines.....please heed my advice. DO NOT PATRONIZE GLOBE TELECOM. their customer service is non-existent.
