Hi all! Newbie here...
I say it really depends on you guys kung sawa na kayo sa iPods nyo at kailangan na palitan or you need a new one then marami na kayong pagpipilian. Me, I just bought an iPod Video (5.5G 30GB Black Edition) last month and I really am contented with it, kahit na alam ko na meron din mga upcoming models like the one shown above and on the other thread. Kasi nandoon na ung mga hinahanap ko like mp3/aac player, video player and memory to hold all those media and my data. Not to mention some bonus features like the Podcasts and Audiobooks which I like very much.
At first akala ko hindi OK ang audio quality ng iPod, medyo maarte ako pagdating sa audio mahilig ako sa mga bassy sounds. I even tried to buy powerful earbuds just to satisfy my ears but still hindi pa rin ako kuntento. Then by googling my problem I found what I'm looking for, I can now listen to my bassy music even with the bass booster EQ setting is on and no crackling/clipping sound when playing complex bass on full volume.
About the Video, OK so far... I can play 2 full length movies (about 3 - 3.5 hours) on one full batt. Before I'm annoyed when I convert a movie, somewhere in the middle of the film the audio will not sync with the video. I thought the converter I'm using was lame or something. Then by googling again the problem I then found the proper way of converting videos, now audio and video are synchronized to last second of the movie.
Memory, till now hanggang 50% pa lang ang pinakamalaking naikarga ko sa HD ng iPod ko. Maybe because I always remove stuff that I'm not using anymore, before I even loaded the whole House M.D. Season 3 but still it's only50% full. 30GB is well enough for me, buying 80GB or higher would be overkill for me.
