yeah, we used to have the very first AEM EMS serial # 000.001 . but that thing was pretty old and very unreliable, so now we use MoTec

also, our turbo is not that very big at all. its a 62 mm dual ball bearing turbo by Forced Performance. the specs on our turbo is almost the same as the Garrett GT35R but our turbo spools a lot quicker.

sensya na ha i'm just curious...

now that we know how much power the engine makes, let's figure out how that power is transferred to the wheels

the clutch -- hmmm, what did you use, KBR?

    twin disc? ceramic? kevlar?

we are actually making 687 hp to the front wheels also, we're using ACT 6 puck sprung hub ceramic clutch. we dont use any fancy stuff clutch wise, also our transmission is a fully built Sheperd Racing stage-4 5 spd tranny. which is nearly indestructible.

    wow

both dynos couldnt handle the torque

you use pump gas in the dyno sessions and you use race gas on the track right?

what's the octane rating of the pump gas?

and what's the octane rating of the race gas you use?

back then we use race gas on both dyno sessions & race events (specially back when we are doing Land Speed Racing). we used to use A8C race fuel from ERC Racing Fuels (costs $12.99 per gallon!) and it is rated * 120 octane . but now, we use Ethanol for fuel. we use E85 pump gas from Chevron (only $2.99 per gallon) and it is rated * 110 octane.

anywayz, the way our car is tuned right now, we make almost the same horsepower figures by using E85 pump gas compared to using A8C (or C16) race fuel. the only difference is that we consume twice the amount of fuel when we are using E85, compared to A8C or C16.

    cool

i understand land speed racing is straight flat out

for time attack, i'm sure you couldnt use the suspension set-up from land speed

what suspension are you using now?

we're using custom spec KW suspension coil-overs w/ custom Hypercoil springs & custom Dennis Grant upper hats. we also use SPC control arms and most of our bushings are polyurethane. also, our suspension system is fully tuned, aligned and dialed-in by ROBIspec, which is a very well known chassis & suspension shop that specializes in Road Racing.
