This double post gremlin has come out again.... Whew!
Anyway, LH was able to jump from 13th place to 9th place before(?) that "apex-overtake-taking advantage" incident....Although his jump form 10th to 9th place over HK appears to me like "team orders"

So far, it still is Ferrari 1-2 KR-FM
And, luck so far is not going LH's way, as he was penalized with a drive through for "missing the apex during an overtaking maneuver and taking advantage of it"....
At least, that is how I heard it on the TV coverage....

Damn that drive-through... it didn't seem like he gained a place with that little stunt... and he was pushed off of line... penalty or a crash... erh...
Still, despite the usual, stupid, anti-McLaren FIA tactics (though the penalty for last race's stoplight incident was well deserved by Hammie)... it was an interesting race... lots of fighting throughout the field.
Raikkonen's exhaust issue, though, may prove to be a factor in next week's race... as it looks like he might have to start either ten places back or continue with an engine in unsure condition. What a freak accident... somebody at Ferrari must've been sleeping at the welder last week...
Mad props to Alonso... what a race... and even madder props to Trulli for making for the fastest "Trulli-train" we've seen in a long while (even though it was just two or three cars long... )

^^Actually he can change his engine without penalty at all. New rules yan for 2008 but it only applies to the first change.

June 23rd, 2008 10:06 AM #6ang ganda ng course and shots. parang ang bibilis talaga nila hehe
anyway, it was simply a dominating race for ferrari. but trulli or HK could have given KR some fits if only they weren't entangled in a tight battle for 3rd. imagine they were gaining by more than a second per lap when kimi had trouble with his exhaust.

Kimi blew them away in the 1st half of the race so ang laki ng gap di na nila mahahabol yun...

That "free change" is only in case of general failure. Unfortunately, Kimi's engine was still running at the end of the race.
The question is whether this has caused enough damage to warrant an engine change, or whether they're going to risk a DNF and run the same engine. Either way, Kimi's chances of staying close to Massa in the points race is probably well and truly buggered.
This is a terrific driver's championship... full of surprises at this point. I just how BMW and McLaren can really stick it to the Ferrari boys over the course of the season, but the engine freeze rule was really stupid... since it means nobody can catch the Ferraris power-wise, now... (oh, I'm guessing that was on purpose?) ...least of all, Renault, who have to resort to a lot of tricks to keep their cars on the fast end of the grid.
Hmmm... how much better would F1 be if they implemented a weight system bsaed on qualifying pace?5 kilos of weight for every second faster than the Force India runners your car is. Ought to be quite interesting...
