should i get AVEO or ALTO?

Hi guys,

newbie po. hingi po sana ako ng assitance sa inyo which one to buy: AVEO or ALTO?

we are in the process of acquiring our first and we think these are the two cars that we will buy. however, we need to consider:
- PRICE of the unit.
- MAINTENANCE (i prefer A/T para pwede ma-drive ni misis).
- DURABILITY
- also, alin po ba sa dalawa ang hindi hirap sa akyatan kasi medyo matarik lugar namin eh. medyo worried ako baka masira agad ang transmission dahil matarik ang papunta sa amin.

aveo is a bigger car than the alto.. but parts wise, mas angat/advantage ang alto...di ganung kalakas dealership ng chevy ph...

kung di lang nagmahal--rio is a good alternative..

alto and aveo, mismatch. they are wearing different shoes. aveo is in subcompact class already whilst alto is in kei class. you compare alto with hyundai i10, getz, kia picanto..and aveo with those mentioned by others, jazz, vios, yaris, etc :nod:

it depends in your needs eh. if you want bigger space to boot i'de go for aveo. meron pa din namang vios or rio to choose from. jazz is too expensive for the ts i pressume.

you're better off with a getz, an i10 or a picanto.

sir thanks po sa input. actually my wife would be the one to drive it kasi.
we have discussed about VIOS pero she told me na hirap sya during the test drive.

mas prefer nya yung ALTO dahil mini-car pero and worry ko kasi baka mahirapan umahon dun sa lugar namin na matarik.
i saw from other thread about AVEO and seems ok daw ang performance kaya lang worried ako sa parts availability nito in 3yrs or 5yrs from now.

i also saw Hyundai's Getz i10 and i thought this one would be good too, but then again, i saw some thread posted about the "LEMON" units sold by HARI.

Jazz is definitely out of the range of our budget as its too expensive...
...maybe ipon na lang kami uli so YARIS would be our other option (toyota being proven in replacing any parts/even the whole unit when damage occurs)??

How about mazda2? i know its not yet out there pero kung di pa naman nagmamadali about sa pagkuha ng oto, magandang option ito.

One more thing, yung ford fiesta na katulad din halos nito.

Sabi nga pala nung nakausap ko na taga mazda. most probably last quarter of this year. :grin:
