The last time I saw a firefly was during my early highschool years when we were still living in the barrio. But after that, I've not seen one even from afar.
ngayon ko lang naisip. hindi pa pala ako nakakakita nito. sa mga cartoons lang. hehehe
we used to collect them, put them in jars then set them free when we got tired of 'em. i caught one a few nights ago. we live up in the mountains
Many times during my grade school days,- Boy Scout camping in Greenheights Paranaque, Montalban Rizal, Teresa Rizal and Mt. Makiling in Laguna....
The last time was about a year ago,- here in our village..... We stopped from our walking exercise and marvelled at how beautiful and majestic they were.... :happy:

behind our house in manila two years ago. There used to be a small patch of bamboo trees and a sapa. ang huli kong balita, paved na yung lugar ginawang congressional avenue extension :(.
