In a short mobile video clip which appears to have been taken by locals at seen of the murder, the girl is seen being ambushed on her way home by a group of up to 1000 men who were waiting for her to return; the men killed her in the most brutal way possible, by throwing large stones on her head. The following clips show that while she is alive and crying for help she is taunted and kicked in her stomach until someone finishes her off by throwing a large stone on her face.
From the clips it appears that the girl was first stripped naked to symbolize that she had dishonored her family and her Yezidi religion. She is lying on the road naked while her smashed face is covered with blood and still breathing.
a week after, the muslims retaliated by killing off 30 men and women ceremoniously.

he's the most outspoken atheist i know of, an evolutionist. he's also known as "darwin's pitbull" and written the book "the selfish gene".
he came out with the documentary "root of all evil?" which critizes organized religion as a whole and came out with a book entitled The God Delusion.

religiosity is different from spirituality
unfortunately - most of the world are still under the influence of "religious" leaders or cultures who badly misinterpret the original teachings of their religions. this creates a hostile environment with no room for diversity or tolerance of different people.
as to the so-called "anger" in this world - think about this: more children die every year from malnurition and other diseases as compared to number of people who died from violent reasons.
we can go on babbling about how religion did this and that but what will we gain in the end? nothing. we should focus instead on how we can help those that are in need instead.
i think religion is used as an excuse pero this mostly about tribal issue...

While I'm a big critic of organized religion, myself, tama si Mazdamazda, religion is different from spirituality. Religion is the excuse. Prejudice and racism is the root cause... and certain "religious leaders" merely use their influence to marshal people to their misguided cause.

it's more custom than religion.
Like if a person u grows up in a village where chopping heads off their enemies or eating their internal organs or drinking their blood is a tradition passed on from generation after generation...
and that tradition still continues to this day...
That's what u get when people are afraid to break tradition and think on their own and live life the way they want.
Islam is so strict that islamic people are afraid to break tradition.
In Christianity, u can decide to become an athiest and nobody's gonna stone u to death.
