I have bakal feet so my shoes don't last long
The oldest in my closet are Birkenstocks which I've had since the mid 90s I think. I have not worn it for 20 yrs but I couldn't get myself to throw it away because it still looks good.

I should have an Oct 2016 Adidas Bounce, pero I can't seem to find it.
So technically, oldest shoe on my cabinet is a Oct 2018 Nike Hurrache which I feel is retiring this year.
I stopped "collecting" shoes way in the early 2000's. I realized na kahit anong ingat mo sa kanya, it will later fail (kukunat yung rubber/sasabog yung "Air")
Mendrez brown leader shoes...more than 20 yrs old...still usable but unused for years...real leather...and sobrang kunat considering na hindi ako ingat sa paggamit nun...kahit mabsa okay lang sa akin...twice changed yung rubber soles...
Black Rusty Lopez leather shoes I used in my wedding almost 17 years ago....pwedeng pwede pa....napa repair lang yung soles kasi lumutong na...very usable pa up to now...naka gamit ko pa sa graduation ko sa Japan in 2012
kenneth coLe square toe year 1998
Panahon ng rave. Bow chi bow bow!!!!
i have a rockport that's ... dunno when i bought it na tuloy.
more than 5 years na.. mebbe 10..
humiwalay na yung sole, so i had the cobbler sew it back and not just rely on glue.
My oldest is a pair of Gibi formal shoes, which I bought for my daughter's college graduation, I've worn it I think 4 times only. I'm basically a rubber shoes guy when I was still working, but shifted to loafers when I retired at 45.
call me crazy.. pero I have a log (in excel) of all our rubber shoes.
pero I never made one for my leather shoes kasi my formal shoes last forever.
I still have old shoes from way back 90's. a few pair of Cole-Haans, 2 pairs of Ralph Lauren leather shoes.
i placed them in a box with one of those silica gels.
Havn't worn any of them except for one of the cole haan boots that i sometimes use when it rains.
I had to throw away several rubber shoes because it became brittle/cracked. Will silica gel prevent that from happening too?
