based on my experience before sa subic where i imported cars from japan, subic was ok before bureaucracy started to eat the office of subic and customs. everyman for himself ang nangyari and it was shut down by the president herself. after the decision all of the cars from subic with R and C plates were started to be flagged down by the Highway Patrol (tmg before) then everybody went to CEBU. plates starting with Y and G were issued to imported vehicles and registerd in CEBU. it was ok for a year or two then the apprenhesion happened again this time with the Presidential anti Smuggling Group chasing everybody even with legit papers. this cooled down and gave birth to cagayan/port irene. even a senator defended the legality of the issue. right now cars in manila are filled with B plates and im sure the apprehension will happen again in the future. so my advice to you wanna be importers of vehicles. USE MANILA AS ENTRY. although a bit expensive in my experience pero walang hassle because my taxpayment is in manila and most important of all POrt of entry is manila also with all
supporting documents. manila plates are issued towannabe importers who choose to import their cars using the manila entry. with manila entry you get manila standard plates and if your willing to spend a little more you get a personalized plate!

pm me if you need help in documentation and importation or text )(*!&&#&*(&

just decide to buy my dream car na. its also a 993 targa (cant afford the turbo) as i went around, wla akong makita na targa 993 and decided to look for one in th US and to my delight i saw one in california. owner's price is reasonable naman about 34k with all original papers 2nd owner clean title and has about 30k miles. i asked my sister to check it out and she said it was really nice including yung mga rubber seals sa doors windows and interior is very good. i was a car importer during the subic days of 2000 - 2002 so i tried to call my friends and they quoted me to pay 600k for taxes and registration. car will be here in about a month or so. im excited
