December 19th, 2006 06:23 AM #1Living in england for almost 6 years, I noticed that political correctness is killing christmas.. i,e.. naming it as winterval instead of xmas,...Councils are making sure that people of different culture/religious belief are not offended by celebrating xmas...

^happy holidays is a catch-all para walang maoffend....it covers christmas, hanukkah and ramadan. kahit atheists covered siguro because the time off makes it a holiday (not sure).

This whole "political correctness" thing is retarded. Glad the Philippines isn't affected by it much, but then again the Philippines is predominantly Christian.
Christmas is "politically incorrect" and "offensive", while Hannukah, Ramadan et al are not (double standard eto sa Western countries)?! I find the double standard offensive.
