bro we want more options for the commuter. vehicle traffic density is growing to a near halt. if people have the opportunity to use public transportation then itll be good.

October 31st, 2017 02:34 PM #76the most obvious, fastest, and cheapest option i can think of right now, is to maximize the current lrt and mrt, by fixing or re-furbishing them to when-new spec.

But remember yung new set of trains that the previous administration has bought for the MRT3? Hindi sya compatible, and needs to replace the whole signaling system. Overused and abused agad yung trains nya due to overcrowded trains and the rails are for light rail use. Much better if they are using heavy rails like the ones in LRT 1 and 2, and purchase trains na compatible sa system.

So, mas ok pa rin ba ang elevated and at-grade railways than a subway? For me, oo. But yung political will must apply on this if they want to build more elevated rail lines in the metro and nearby provinces.
If the japs can do the impossible, then let's give it to them to build the subway.. besides, magaling naman sila sa pagbuild dyan eh. They can do feasibility study naman before they build it eh.
