June 14th, 2016 10:28 AM #4I'm more worried about the incoming administration's handling of this issue than China's. We can expect China to be stubborn. But the rest of the international community will stand by the arbitration ruling which will most probably be in our favor. This will put China in a tight spot, and adversely affect future dealings with other countries if they don't abide by the ruling.
What bugs me is that du30 has already said he will not abide by the arbitration ruling and prefers bilateral talks. Mayhaps the Chinese bankrolled someone's campaign?

the down payment was already paid in advance during the arroyo administration. it was arroyo who bankrolled du30's campaign to put yasay as foreign affairs secretary. then will divide the spoils.

Wow, with that argument, Italy could therefore claim western Europe, central EU up to Turkey. Because that's part of the Roman empire.
