What really irks me about the senior citizen discount is that the BIR still insists that we pay even MORE taxes even if we declare 100% of our finances in the Drug store. The accounting firm already argued with the BIR regional director but no, the director threatened that he will call his friends in the investigative division to harass us(including other businesspeople).

Lose-lose situation when laws are written by politicians and not people with brains, eh?

Similar gripe with the school. All the hoops the CHED makes you jump through to offer courses... all the services you could maybe outsource/share with other schools that they want you to only have on-site... the caregiver export course was just taking off, and they effectively killed it by forcing schools to tool up with as much equipment as you'd need to open up a basic nursing course.

And no sharing between the two courses. At all. What a waste.
