Cory's Solicitor General and the guy who alledgely never won a case...
MANILA, Philippines—Former Solicitor General Frank Chavez died Wednesday night due to stroke at the age of 66.
This was confirmed to Radyo Inquirer 990AM in a phone conversation with Chavez’ daughter Ingrid Chavez.
According to Ingrid, her father died at 10:20 p.m. She refuted rumors on the cause of the death of her father.
She said that the only cause of her father’s death was related to his health. Chavez was reportedly confined at The Medical City on Ortigas Avenue, Pasig City.
Chavez alleged that Alejandro Alfonso Navarro, F. Arthur Villaraza, Avelino Cruz Jr., Simeon Marcelo, Raoul Angangco tarnished his “unsullied reputation as a legal advocate" when they said in a newspaper report that he did not win a single case during his stint as chief state counsel of the late President Corazon “Cory" Aquino.

Meron naman pinananalo na kaso....pero puro sa lower courts. Most of his cases before the SC as SolGen he lost mostly because of disrespectful language and poor legal research by his staff.
A lot of bluster by the guy in suspenders. RIP and condolences to his family.

September 14th, 2013 10:57 AM #9Not true. Frank WON cases even in the Supreme Court. Go to his website and see the list of cases he won as Sol-Gen. That thing about not having won any case was an exaggerated spin by his detractors whom he fought in his years in litigation practice.
Do research first before you disrespect the dead.
