Who ever coined the title could only have been born yesterday. Martial law days pa , buhay na at kilala na ang Danao for their copied guns or paltiks. More often then it's those who fires the paltik that get injured or jammed, so how could it be compared to US were owning a gun is embodied in their constitution and buying one is just like going into a grocery.

The US is more deadlier in terms of civilian gun ownership but this country is deadlier than US in terms of rebellion & terrorist act.

You just need to look at the US' track record of school shootings to smell B.S. Mind you, we aren't talking about puny handguns, we're talking rifles, shotguns used to shoot kids like game.

Just look at some of the Black Friday ads from Walmart, etc; you can buy at AR-15 variant for around php30k, and they give you free magazine clips! And they wonder why there's a school shooting every few months.

Not sure how easy/hard it is to get a gun in the US, but they definitely have the disposable income to buy high powered rifles. The widespread poverty here seems to work to our advantage somehow -- most people can't afford guns, so there aren't too many guns out there. Now we just need to worry about the guys carrying knives, steel pipes, ice picks, etc.(um...yey for us?)

research official statistics first before you make uneducated claims

FBI ? Expanded Homicide Data Table 11

there's a good reason why "assault weapons ban" during the Clinton administration didn't work at all.

    dekada na ang kuwentong ito...
lifetime warranty naman... kapag sumabog ang breech/barrel at napatay ang shooter dahil sa shrapnel, the warranty is over.

it's not even about "assault rifles" that the "assault weapon ban" is banning. Stuff like having a fixed stock, pistol grip, and magazine capacity exceeding 10 rounds is considered an "assault weapon" during that time.

.223 remington that AR-15's use isn't even "high powered" compared to WW2 era battle rifle rounds or .50 BMG.

heck, a hell lot more people get killed by bare fists compared to rifles.

isn't the AR-15 the forerunner of the M-16 armalite?
