Well I decided to Google the answer.

Php 40,425 per month or Php 485,100 per year

Php 48,052 per month or Php 576,624 per year

That's weird because he just spent 2 years pay for that dinner and he should probably not be paid anymore for his service.

I knowthey are given allowances for their foreign trips/assignment. However, I believe they have just surpassed their per diem allowance for all trips they take within their lifetime. Heck, I travel for the government under my job and my per diem for that isn't even close to what these guys are spending and I work for a first world country.

Well Malacang says they are not spending the money but the Congressman and Senators inviting the President. So let's give them the benefit of the doubt and put heat on the person that paid the bill and once he is under enough public pressure he may eventually tell the truth. You can't always go through the front door sometimes you have to find other ways to catch the thief.
