June 27th, 2019 11:39 AM #18331Sir, taga dri man jud ka sa davao(taga rito ka man talaga sa davao) pero alam naman natin na we need long fire arms at strict sa checkpoint(which is good for me). Andito sa mindanao ang mga lawless elements di ba? If maluwag ang checkpoint what's the point of being there? Normal to me. Tapos polite naman ang Davao task force. Ginawa nila yung paghaloghog nga mga bag dahil siguro matagal kayong bumaba. Okay lang yun, kesa may makalusot, na di maganda.

Duterte in U-Turn Says China Can’t Fish Philippines Waters
"The Philippines is not waiving its rights to exclusive waters in the South China Sea, President Rodrigo Duterte said Thursday, walking back on an earlier stance allowing Chinese fishing that some officials said was unconstitutional."

This is quite lengthy but it's a lovely scalding rebuke of Teddy Boy Locsin, that piece of sh__ who masquerades as a Secretary of the DFA:
... sharing...
From Wildredo Garrido:
TEDDY BOY: IN OLD AGE, STILL THE MISBEGOTTEN SON.
He is not his father's son. Old Teodoro Locsin Sr. fought the Japanese and the Marcoses. He was the intrepid publisher of the news magazine the Free Press. As a result, he was imprisoned by Marcos during Martial Law.
Teddy Boy? He fled to the US where he lay low for years and didn't even figure in the anti-Marcos struggle. Until it was won, that is.
He is the opposite of another child of privilege, Eugenio Lopez, Jr. who spent time in Camp Crame. He is more like RJ Jacinto, another empty can, singing while his guitar gently weeps.
After Marcos was gone, he flew back to the Philippines with much fanfare, wearing the opposition mantle of his father, but he couldn't hack it in publishing. He failed to restore the Free Press to its former glory and was forced to sell it to a Chinese businessman. He found his calling putting words in the mouth of government officials as a ghost writer. He fulminates without risk to himself, from the bully pulpit, as it were. He has never put himself in a position of danger as a regular journalist at risk of arrest and assassination. He stands like a fly on a carabao and if he can call himself a journalist at all, he is the laziest of them all. The apple rotted before falling far from the tree.
When I was a teenager, I used to worm through the stacks of Free Press magazines stored in the attic of our house and read old pre-Martial Law articles. Old Teodoro Locsin, publisher and editor, was fearless in blasting Marcos and his corruption, especially in the years leading to the Plaza Miranda bombing and Martial Law. Young Teddy Boy had a section called The Uneasy Chair but he wrote about far off topics, such as the ancient Greeks and the Peloponnesian Wars. Meant to show off his erudition rather than love of country. Detached from reality. He wrote nothing about the tumult of his times such as the First Quarter Storm; never read of him reporting from the streets. He chose to lead a sheltered and privileged life.
His father fought the big fights. He exposed the bribery at the Constitutional Convention called the payola scandal, blasted Imelda's extravagance and warned of impending Martial rule, through his fiery editorials. In his younger days, he also fought the Japanese as a guerilla rather than continue publishing under censorship.
Teddy Boy fought what? He never criticized Marcos until he was safely ensconced in government. After Cory was gone, he tried running a newspaper, the Daily Globe, but failed again. Then, he ingratiated himself with the Binays and won a secure seat as a congressman of Makati, without breaking sweat. Self-entitled, the ultimate parasite. He accomplished no significant legislation but became a critic of the First Gentleman protected by parliamentary immunity. When Binay lost his presidential run, he quickly jumped to the Duterte bandwagon and wangled the position of a diplomat which does not suit his personality. He picks fights with the international community and domestically with the small people, the less privileged, the powerless, such as the victims of EJK and the citizens struggling to make ends meet. He has the courage of a bully. He is an embarrassment to the nation.
From Dilawan to Binayaran to DDS Pulahan, sino ngayon ang bakla?
THE ULTIMATE PARASITE
Now, let us look at his career: he prospered by latching on to the successes of others. Standing on his own, he is a poor manager and a terrible businessman. He is a journalist who failed at the business of journalism. Where the Free Press reigned supreme in the hands of his father for decades, it flopped the moment he resumed its publication after Martial Law. The Daily Globe newspaper he founded went bankrupt, nobody remembers it today.
ABS-CBN in contrast to the Free Press was wildly successful after Martial Law. And the loser that is Teddy Boy soon crawled aboard to find a job there. His documentary program however suffered low ratings because he spoke in monotone, every bit like a boy, his voice was muffled, and he droned on and on as if speaking through a pillow or a PVC pipe. The eloquence of his writing was not carried to his ngo-ngo elocution, unfortunately. So much for being the next Angelo Castro, he with the mellifluous voice broadcasters crave.
He is a politician without a constituent. Binay carried him on his back. He contributes nothing to a campaign. Not votes, not money. By turning his back on Cory, did the Liberal Party lose anything? Good riddance. (PNoy was elected, and governed, pointedly without his mother's favorite spokesman). By leaving a wounded Jojo Binay, did it leave the Binays any worse off? Get lost. By gatecrashing the Duterte admin, did he bring anything to the table? His big mouth, nothing else.
Now this abrasive interloper is causing the administration all sorts of problems. At least Harry Roque was a domestic issue, a court jester. Teddy Boy is an international embarrassment, he is our representative to the world, and the world sees us in the image of him, a madman like his boss, an unapologetic Nazi admirer.
If Duterte has any reason to be rid of him, it is because Teddy Boy is trying to upstage him before the world, trying to steal his thunder. Fortunately for him, parasites are a victim of their own success. They get their fill, they fall off and then they bite the dust.....
