    surface area is fine..
but what about volume? after all, this is what determines whether our coastline gets changed or not..

You missed my point, you use it to debunk many assumptions about climate change.

Check your ACE, temp history, etc. Same story.

All in all, the science is not settled. If so, we cannot use what we currently know for policy making.

At most, what we MUST DO is to ensure our immediate environment is livable; an issue that is different from climate science.

we appear to be thinking at two different levels.
i suppose that's why we both miss the other's point.

    Yup. We are.

To prove that answer this: do we affect the climate? If so, can we control it?

nobody is talking about the effects that haarp program of the US can affect weather (even in cop21.) haarp is pumping
millions of watts into the atmosphere. they are using elf, like the freq of our brains. maybe, thats the reason why many americans just have the urge to shoot someone. haarp can change the weather and possibly our attitude.

btw, this is similar with the woodpecker program of USSR many years ago. transmitting on the shortwave freqs. they had stopped this but haarp is still there, being used as a pretense for anti-ballistic technology.

Nope. Neither do I and neither do the scientists.

But who wins in this debate anyways?

Worse case, we really are affecting the climate and we start veering away from fossil fuels. OUR ECONOMY CRASHES but the first worlds' flourish, they will be the one exporting nuclear tech at the high high price of the SKY. OR, we plant more co2 sinks and our agriculture suffers, or we "plant" artificial corral reefs but it will take forever to flourish.

Got the not so subtle hints?
