The impression that the rally was full of "younger people" is merely because they have more tolerant to the environment. There were a lot of elderly people who would spend 30 or so minutes in the rally and go back to the mall because its too hot. Whereas younger folk can endure 10 hours under the heat on the street.

To the 40+ of Tsikot, how many hours can you stay under the sun in a crowded place?

Yup. Most I know that went are 30s until seniors. May friends ang Mom ko (70s) who were there, ang tatapang!

I can't stand the heat + crowd even in my 20s kaya that's another factor why I didn't push through because it was exceptionally hot yesterday. Ready na nga outfit ko for the rally

late into the rally a medic escorted an elderly to breathe some fresh air..she was deep inside ayala and paseo de roxas intersection..when she passed by our area..someone chanted MOMMY and everyone followed to salute her

Spirit of volunteerism is really what defines Leni's campaign based on what I observed last night. Not sure if there were buses assigned to ferry the supporters to ayala av. but I had to walk all the way from BGC to Makati pushing the stroller of my pup (who has some health issues) and had to climb up and down the steps of the ayala footbridge. Yoy can see people wearing the familiar color walking along the street greeting each other. Private vans parked along the street offering eater and biscuits to passers by. Grabe ung bayanihan spirit pati pulis tumino. no pushing/shoving and the mood was festive. I'm glad I was part of the pink revolution.Click image for larger version.
