I noticed Mobil Delvac MX 15W-40 in a store today. Mukhang bago. Ok ba ito sa mga nakasubok na?
Thanks.

February 18th, 2003 05:39 AM #4Delvac MX 15w40 is a good oil, i've been using it for 2 yrs before switching to Delvac 1 5w40 full synthetic. I've friends that also use it on their gasoline engines and are quite happy with it.
The new Delvac mx comes in 5L and 1L packs.

Thanks for the info sir jackaroo. I am looking for a good reasonable priced mineral oil for use in all of our 3 diesel vehicles and this may well be the one.

I've been using Delvac MX in my Frontier during my past two oil changes already and i'm quite satisfied with it. I'm gonna be sticking to this oil most probably.
I got mine for P110 per 1L bottle and P500 for the 5L bottle in Banawe. It goes for P115 per 1L bottle in Hans Tools in Shangri-la.
Synth oils are way beyond my budget nowadays kaya stick to mineral muna ako.

As far as I know, for both mineral oils, 15W-40 mas maganda para sa hotter places, 5W-40 for colder places.
Pero, maganda pa rin synthetic oils, mas mahal nga lang.
I'm still using tri-synthetic oil for my ride...
