How will water flushing damage catalytic converter,enlighten me on this

June 22nd, 2015 04:44 AM #35It will not damage the catalytic converter as long as it's just water never believe on cleaning the exhaust specially on diesel and I will never will.
It's just some bs procedure you have to go through when you renew registration old Diesel engine will emit black smoke when you floor the accelerator pedal even a more advance hpcr engines will pop smoke

cleaning the pipe, is a very short-term solution, and even questionable in effectivity. better to find and remedy the cause of engine over-smoking.
my diesels pass the emissions test, even without that pre-testing procedure.
